Dal tadka is one of the most popular dal recipe served in Indian restaurants. Basically dal tadka are cooked lentils which are lastly tempered with oil or ghee fried onions & coriander leaves.
Ingredients:-
Moong Dal : 1 Cup
Pure Ghee : 3 Tsp
Salt : 1 Tsp or as per taste
Turmeric Powder : 1/4 Tsp
Red Chili : 1/2 Tsp
Onion : 1 Big Sliced
Coriander Leaves : 1 Tsp Chopped
Water : 4 Cup
Method:-
Soak dal for around one hour. Take 4 cup of water in a pan then add soaked dal in it. Boil it for 10 minutes then remove the foam over it. Now add salt, turmeric powder, 2 tsp ghee, mix well and cook it for 10 minute on low flame then turn off the gas.
In another pan heat ghee, add onions and saute till golden brown then add red chili powder in it. Now garnish these onion and coriander leaves top on dal. Serve hot with chapati or rice.
