Moong Dal Halwa Recipe I Moong Dal Ka Halwa

Moong Dal Halwa is a classic delicious sweet of India, moong dal halwa is made for special occasions and festivals like marriages,  Deepawali etc.



Ingredients:-

Yellow Moong Dal : 1 Cup
Pure Ghee : 1 Cup
Sugar : 1 Cup
Milk : 1 Cup
Water : 2 Cup
Almonds  : 10 Sliced
Cashew Nut : 10 Chopped
Cardamom Powder  : 1/2 Tsp
Milk Cream : 1 Tsp



Method:-

Dry roast moong dal till light brown in a pan, let it be cool, grind it and make powder. Heat ghee in a pan add powdered dal and roest it for 2 minutes on low flame. Add almonds, cashew nuts, cardamom powder, sugar, milk and water and mix well stirring continuously so that no lumps should be there. Stir continuously till it leaves the edges of the pan, serve hot.
